Science

Science engages kids and ignites their desire to want to learn more.
Scientific activities help promote a sense of inquiry. They answer Why, What, When, Who and How, which are some of the words that come naturally to children from an early age.
Our Viva kids explore science on a day to day basis. Science teaching does not always need to be formal. We provide opportunities for our children to also learn science through informal activities. A child’s curiosity is instigated while he is planting a seed for example, or when he is watering and caring for a plant while watching it grow. A child can also learn science when playing with water in its different forms, or when seeing how fast or slow it can move depending on the force applied. Science is everywhere and anytime is a good time for some exploration!
In addition, we also study science in a more structured way through our monthly themes. We thoughtfully plan engaging activities that will spark interest and desire to learn more.
